The pinnacle of spice blends and such a versatile mix. It can be used just about everywhere from the darkest of meats including game to fish and vegetables. The longer you can leave it the deeper the flavour. I slow cook a Ras el hanout beef casserole one day and eat it the following day. The flavour just builds.

Ras El Hanout

  • Saffron, fennel, cumin, dill seeds, caraway seeds, rose petals, allspice, black pepper, coriander, mace, paprika, cardamom, cayenne, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, bay leaf and turmeric.
