Although Portuguese in origin, this mix owes a good deal to the Peri Peri mix popular in South Africa. However, this mix is about flavour not the excessive heat. Mixed with oil, minced ginger and garlic and rubbed on a spatch-cocked chicken and roasted or BBQ, this mix is one to try.

Portuguese Mix

  • Paprika, Cumin, Cinnamon, Ginger, Allspice, Bird’s-eye Chilli.
